Ken 'Peanut' Patten - Ken is an artist born and bred in Newcastle, who has been involved in tattooing one way or another for nearly 25 years. His interest in the art of tattooing started in his teens, when he had already performed some hand tattoos - this started a long journey designing and creating tattoos right up to the present day. Ken has a great eye for detail and a real passion for his art, which can be seen in his work of realism, black and grey and cover-up tattoos. He has a great deal to offer both the industry and public.

Kate Shaw - Kate is a (typical blonde) Geordie lass. She has been passionate about drawing ever since she picked up her first crayon, and found the idea of drawing on skin amazing - the tattooing dream began! Her lucky break into the industry was thanks to a chance encounter with a friend at school, who put her name forward to Ken. Ken decided there was room for one more at The Tattoo Station and an apprentice was born! When she's not at The Tattoo Station or drawing, Kate enjoys other passions in life - eating chocolate, spending money and dressing up like a pirate for nights on the toon!

Kevin Totton - Kev has had a successful career working in the graphic design/illustration industry for many years. He found his way to us with a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design & Illustration, and an MA (Masters Degree) in Illustration under his belt.

His love for tattoos and illustration pulled him to The Tattoo Station and he has never wanted to leave since. We have tried everything, trust me - bug repellent, rat poison, small explosives to name but a few - but he just clings to the door frame harder each time!! So eventually we gave in and decided to keep him around (we couldn’t shut the door with him clinging to the frame and it was starting to get pretty cold...)

Kev has a tremendous passion for a huge array of illustrative styles and has fallen head over heels in love with the opportunity to make living art. Powered mostly by caffeine and nicotine, he has an enthusiasm and desire for the industry that shall never run dry.
